AEQ Introduces the Solaris Codec
AEQ introduces the Solaris codec, a high-density multi-channel audio codec designed for broadcast applications such as STL links and remote contributions. Solaris can be purchased with eight bidirectional stereo channels and can be upgraded to support up to 64 channels. Audio I/O is via IP using Dante (AES-67 compatible) and supports various audio coding algorithms including Opus, G.722, G.711, and uncompressed PCM. The unit can be controlled remotely using a Web interface and diagnostics tools are included.
