    Midyear report shows new home sales down

    The first half of 2025 saw a 22% decline in new‑home sales across the top 10 builders in Las Vegas, driven by higher interest rates and rising costs. Lennar remains the market leader with 1,065 net sales, but its numbers fell 11% from the previous year. The market share of more affordable townhomes has risen, and median prices for single‑family detached homes hit a new high at $595,990. Regional sales remain concentrated in Henderson, the Southwest, and the Northwest, with North Las Vegas showing growth.
