Partners Group has partnered with Brazil’s Bradesco Asset Management and Gama Investimentos to launch the country’s first global evergreen private equity fund with built-in currency hedging. Through the Gama Partners Group Global Value BRL FIM IE, Brazilian investors will gain access to Partners Group’s flagship global private equity strategy, which boasts nearly 18 years of track record. The local BRL-denominated structure enables investment in the SICAV fund while offering currency protection. The strategy targets leading companies around the world, leveraging a proprietary platform that tracks over 48,000 private assets to enable a selective, data-driven investment process aligned with long-term megatrends. With approximately USD 9 billion in assets and a portfolio diversified across sectors and geographies, the fund combines scale with agility. Capital is allocated immediately—no capital calls required—enabling continuous compounding of returns over time. The minimum initial investment is BRL 20,000. Evergreen funds are open-ended, perpetual investment vehicles that allow for periodic subscriptions and redemptions, providing investors with liquidity flexibility and immediate exposure to a diversified portfolio. This structure eliminates idle capital and mitigates the J-curve effect—typically seen in traditional closed-end private equity funds with scheduled capital calls—offering greater predictability and efficiency in capital deployment. In addition, the local structure with built-in currency hedging eliminates FX exposure while enabling investors to benefit from the interest rate differential between Brazil and international markets.
