Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital has named Raymond Johnson as its new CEO. Johnson has previously served as Chief Administrative Officer at Ascension Saint Thomas DeKalb and Ascension Saint Thomas Stones River. He will lead the hospital's efforts to provide care for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, chronic medical conditions, and illnesses. Ascension Saint Thomas Rehabilitation Hospital opened in June and offers 40 beds. Meharry Medical College Ventures has made a $1 million investment in Heal90, a weight loss and nutrition company. Heal90 uses physicians and coaches to implement nutrition and lifestyle changes to improve chronic metabolic health conditions and promote weight loss. Meharry Medical College Ventures aims to support Heal90's growth and expansion, with the goal of improving health outcomes and reducing healthcare costs. Heal90 was co-founded by Dr. Kevin Billups, a professor and director of the Men's Health Program at Meharry.
