    Daimler Truck plans to cut around 5,000 jobs in Germany

    Daimler Truck announced plans to cut approximately 5,000 jobs in Germany by 2030 as part of an efficiency drive to reduce annual costs by over €1 billion. The company will use natural attrition and early retirement options to achieve this, while projecting 3-5% annual revenue growth in its industrial business and increased zero-emission vehicle sales in Europe. Free cash flow is expected to rise by 50% by 2030 compared to 2024.
