Freight logistics startup GoodShip opening new Bellevue office after raising $25M
GoodShip, a freight logistics software startup founded in 2022, raised $25 million in a Series B funding round led by Greenfield Partners, with additional participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Ironspring Ventures, Chicago Ventures, and FUSE. The company announced the opening of its first physical office and official headquarters in downtown Bellevue, Washington, marking a shift from a fully remote workforce. GoodShip serves clients in shipping logistics, including Kellanova, Reser’s Fine Foods, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, and Tropicana, and reported a tenfold increase in annual recurring revenue in 2024. The company's leadership, CEO Ryan Soskin and CTO David Tsai, previously worked at Convoy, a Seattle-based trucking startup. GoodShip currently employs 14 people in the Seattle region and nearly 40 total employees. The Seattle area has become a hub for supply chain software innovation, with GoodShip among several logistics startups gaining traction there. Despite record funding in 2021, total investment in logistics startups declined significantly in 2024.
