On March 15, 80,000 industrial workers in five German cities took part in a nationwide protest at the call of IG Metall. This is reported by foreign media. According to the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), GDP decreased by 0.2%, and the turnover of medium-sized and large industrial enterprises in the automotive, metal and electrical industries decreased by 4% in 2024, forcing German companies to cut jobs and move production facilities to other countries.
