Weis Markets is currently remodeling its Pen Argyl store, with completion expected by late August, the grocery store chain announced.
The renovation project, which began this spring at the 1321 Blue Valley Drive store, includes several significant upgrades to enhance the shopping experience.
A news release says customers can look forward to an expanded market-style produce department with increased fresh offerings and a larger deli and food service area featuring more ready-to-eat meal options.
The store will also receive an exterior facelift, new interior décor, and a wider variety of products throughout the grocery section.
In line with modern sustainability practices, Weis is installing energy-efficient refrigerated and frozen cases that use low-impact refrigerants.
