Lawsuit claims Kohl’s failed to pay for $8M worth of clothing
A New York apparel company, PSK Collective, has filed a federal lawsuit against Kohl’s Corp. alleging that the retailer refused to pay $7.8 million for clothing it supplied. PSK claims it shipped 600,000 units to Kohl’s between 2021 and 2022, submitted 1,500 invoices, and received no payment. The suit accuses Kohl’s of fraud, breach of contract, and false representations. Kohl’s has yet to respond, while a judge has urged both sides to seek settlement. The lawsuit comes amid recent financial struggles for Kohl’s, including store closures, declining sales, and the firing of CEO Ashley Buchanan.
