Bloomberg LP Chairman Emeritus Peter Grauer retires

Peter Grauer has retired from Bloomberg LP, according to a memo from founder and majority owner Michael Bloomberg.

Grauer served as Chairman of the Board at Bloomberg from 2001 to 2023 and held the position of CEO from 2002 to 2011 before becoming Chairman Emeritus.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Grauer worked as a Managing Director at DLJ from 1992 to 2000. He continued in this role at Credit Suisse (SIX:CSGN) First Boston following its acquisition of DLJ. During his career, Grauer also founded DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and DLJ Investment Partners.
