Allianz Hauptversammlung: Stimmrechtsberater ISS kritisiert Pensionszahlungen
The influential ISS (Institutional Shareholder Services) is advising shareholders to vote against Allianz's new compensation system at the annual general meeting. ISS criticizes the proposed pension contributions, which would remain at 50% of base salary, significantly higher than other European companies. CEO Oliver Bäte's pension is five times higher than that of comparable CEOs. Bäte's base salary was approximately two million euros, and his pension was one million euros. Under the revised compensation system, both salary and pension are expected to slightly increase. Bäte earned over ten million euros in 2024, including variable compensation.
