The addition of Calastone's tech is set to boost the company's fund administration, transfer agency services, and AI automation initiatives.\n\nCalastone will operate as part of SS&amp;C’s Global Investor and Distribution Solutions division once the acquisition closes. The company says that this combination will culminate in \"a unified, real-time operating platform to reduce cost, complexity, and operational risk across the global fund ecosystem as well as shaping distribution\".\n\nCalastone, founded in 2007, currently serves over 4,500 clients with digital investment, mutual fund, and ETF servicing solutions, processing over £250 billion of investment value each month. The UK-based firm has been majority owned by The Carlyle Group since 2020.
