    Louisiana Carbon Dioxide Dehydration And Compression Facility Begins Operation

    CF Industries Holdings Inc. has started a carbon dioxide (CO2) dehydration and compression facility at its Donaldsonville Complex in Louisiana, enabling the transportation and permanent geological sequestration of up to 2 MTPA of CO2. ExxonMobil, the company’s CCS partner, will store the CO2, with plans to transition to dedicated permanent storage via the Rose CCS project. The facility supports CF Industries’ decarbonization efforts and qualifies for tax credits under Section 45Q.
