    Marijuana Ohio law seller buy Senate bill 56

    Senate Bill 56 (SB 56) proposes to impose strict regulations on the marijuana market in Ohio, reversing progress made by voters who approved Issue 2 two years ago. SB 56 limits high THC limits, home plant growth, and public smoking restrictions, and redirects funds from social equity, substance abuse treatment, and criminal justice reform into the state’s general fund. The bill also reduces the number of dispensaries, restricts cultivation areas, and eliminates Level 3 'craft grower' licenses. State Sen. Bill DeMora, D-Columbus, urges the House to reject SB 56, arguing that it is harmful to both consumers and producers and questions its true beneficiaries.
