FedEx and UPS Shares Fall After White House Sets End Date for ‘De Minimis’ Rule
The White House has set an end date for the 'De Minimis' rule, which allowed duty-free imports for packages under $800, effective August 29. This change could reduce demand for packages shipped to the U.S. by direct-to-consumer brands, causing shares of FedEx and UPS to fall by 4.6% and 4%, respectively.
