NuVentures unveils $75M fund to back AI startups with India connect
NuVentures, an early-stage venture capital firm founded by Venk Krishnan in 2015, has announced a new $75 million fund aimed at supporting early-stage tech startups with a strong India connection. The fund plans to invest in around four to five startups annually, with investments ranging from $250k to $750k. Krishnan, along with new partners Visveswaran Kartik, Neel Mukerji, and Prabhakar DJ, aims to provide value addition through connections and market access. The fund will focus on sectors such as SaaS, consumer tech, and AI, with a particular emphasis on startups that have a strong India connection.
