Power stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:14AM Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(up 5.91%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 5.00%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 4.82%), GE T&D India Ltd.(up 4.27%), SJVN Ltd.(up 3.23%), RattanIndia Power Ltd.(up 2.89%), JSW Energy Ltd.(up 2.76%), Adani Power Ltd.(up 2.17%), Reliance Power Ltd.(up 2.11%) and Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(up 1.89%) were among the top gainers. Neueon Towers Ltd.(down 4.42%), Hitachi Energy India Ltd.(down 3.33%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(down 3.14%), Inox Wind Ltd.(down 1.30%), Indowind Energy Ltd.(down 1.25%), Orient Green Power Company Ltd.(down 1.18%), Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(down 0.69%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(down 0.48%), India Power Corporation Ltd.(down 0.29%) and Karma Energy Ltd.(down 0.07%) were among the top losers. The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 31.16 points down at 22470.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 173.64 points at 73832.3 at around 10:14AM. Coal India Ltd.(up 3.38%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.61%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.26%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.05%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.43%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.41%), State Bank of India(up 1.33%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.25%), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.07%) and Cipla Ltd.(up 0.97%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack. On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.98%), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 1.15%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.93%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.92%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.92%), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.89%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.82%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.8%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.76%) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 0.55%) were trading in the red.
