    France’s REEV raises €8.8M to transform mobility assistance with wearable robotics

    Toulouse-based REEV, a medtech startup developing intelligent, lightweight wearable robotics, announced a $9.2M ($8.8M) funding round. Newfund Heka, Polytechnique Ventures, and Irdi Capital led the round, with Techstars and business angels and healthcare operators providing additional support. REev will use the funds to finalize their design, conduct a clinical study at Boston University's Sargent College, and prepare for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration trials. The company aims to restore mobility freedom for millions with walking disorders by providing lightweight and intuitive assistance.
