    Trabalhadores da fábrica alemã da Tesla assinam petição sindical por mais pausas

    Tesla's German factory workers have signed a union petition demanding longer breaks and additional staff. Despite Tesla's claim that most of its workforce is satisfied with current working conditions, the union IG Metall plans to present the petition, signed by 3,086 employees, to the management during a workers' council meeting on Thursday. Tesla has conducted internal surveys with approximately 7,500 out of 11,000 workers, indicating that around 80% are satisfied with their jobs, 5% are dissatisfied, and the rest are neutral. Tesla is preparing to increase production of its Model Y, a retooled version of its mid-size SUV, which will be produced in Berlin. To manage the additional workload, Tesla offered permanent contracts to 300 temporary workers starting next month.
