This project visualizes the scanner radio communications of the Palisades Fire and adjacent fires in Los Angeles County in January 2025. We use ai to transcribe, analysze and visualize the data to provide a better understanding of the events for those affected.

How does this work?
We've got the radio feeds from broadcastify, and we've used AI to transcribe, analyze and visualize the data.
What radio feeds are processed?
Right now only the Los Angeles - West County Interagency Fire feed is processed, for the initial days of 6th through 10th of January 2025.
Why did you make this map?
Our family lost their home in the fire and so far there was no good information on what was happening with the first responders and if there were attempts to save the homes. We hope this map can help others in similar situations.

Is the map accurate?
The map is AI-generated and may contain errors. We're still working on improving the accuracy and will update the map peridocally
