We’ve signed an agreement with our customer Vestas, to supply our low carbon-emissions heavy plate steel - which has a 66% lower carbon intensity compared with the same product made via the conventional steelmaking route - to build wind towers for Baltic Power offshore wind farm, off the coast of Poland.

As part of an ongoing commitment to helping create smarter steels for people and planet, ArcelorMittal and AM/NS India will provide foundational steel materials as well as engineering, design and project management expertise as part of efforts to build India and Asia’s first Hyperloop test track at IIT Madras’s 163-acre Discovery Campus in Thaiyur, on the outskirts of Chennai.
