We had such a fantastic day cycling through the Binh Chau, Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. 🚴‍♀️ 🚴‍♂️ 🌳
 
This vast, protected area of over 10,000 hectares provides habitat for over 700 species of vertebrates, many of which are critically endangered. Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, only 30km away from Entobel Ba Ria - Vung Tau factory, stands as one of Vietnam's last remaining natural coastal forests.
 
At Entobel, our goal is not only to continue fulfilling the mission of being one of the leaders in the insect production industry. We're also dedicated to creating a positive impact on society and the environment.

𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗹 and 𝗛𝗮𝗶 𝗗𝘂𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 announced the signing of a binding long-term agreement for the supply of Entobel’s frass.

A by-product of Entobel’s insect protein production process, frass is an organic base for fertilizer that contains an abundance of nutrients, chitin and beneficial microbiota.

Frass has the potential to reduce the need for chemical fertilizer in agriculture, facilitating regenerative agriculture practices.

💫 What an incredible three days at Vietshrimp 2024! It was a pleasure connecting with our customers, partners, and friends!
 
With keynote speakers addressing topics such as circular economy in the Vietnamese shrimp value chain, solutions to enhance competitiveness and sustainable development of Vietnam’s shrimp, and even net-zero farming in aquaculture (for the latter topic, all credit goes to Skretting Vietnam!), the take-home message from the 2024 edition of Vietshrimp is pretty obvious: Vietnam’s shrimp industry needs to lower its environmental footprint if it is to compete with shrimp grown in Ecuador and elsewhere!

We were thrilled to take the stage as well and update the audience on Entobel, its flagship product H-Meal, latest trial results, and future industry outlook. Entobel having achieved scale already, our sales director, Vincent Verhoestraete, explained how insect meal can help support a shift towards a greener, more ecological aquaculture production.
