We have cooperated with BOBST on their live demonstrations taking place in their Competence Center in Italy weeks 21-24. Bobst is using our film BICOR MB100 to print on a MASTER RS6003 rotogravure press. These demonstrations highlight excellent print register with 12MB100 in comparison to PET films and ensure customers have robust print performance using a very thin OPP film for PP mono-material applications in rotogravure. Drupa 2024 is now open! And we have been working on broadly implementing PP & PE mono-material recyclable solutions across all printing processes and packaging formats. Better Packaging for our Planet! Visit COMEXI GROUP (Hall 10, Stand C19) who is showing samples of one of our recyclable PP mono-material solution: BICOR™ 12MB100 printed on their Offset CI Evolution press using a fine coffee print design to demonstrate the high quality of printing on a very thin BOPP film to replace PET films. Bicor™ 12MB100 was printed at 300m/min in 1,100mm with 4-color offset EB using a Flexo EB white. During the tradeshow COMEXI will also be printing our BOPE film ETHY-LYTE™ 20HD200 on their wide web Flexographic F1 Evolution press. HD200 is a thin oriented HDPE film that is used as the outer web of PE-based laminates to replace PET film and created PE mono-material solutions. COMEXI’s flexo press is operating at 600m/min in widths up to 1,720mm. Jindal Poly Films Limited manufactures and sells biaxially-oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) films, biaxially oriented poly propylene (BOPP) films, and cast poly propylene (CPP) films in India and internationally. It operates through Packaging Films and Nonwoven Fabrics segments. The company's BOPP films include transparent BOPP heat and non-heat sealable, solid white, matte, coex, pearlized, label BOPP, opaque, release, tape and textile, and metallize BOPP films; and PET films comprise chemical treated, opaque white, matte, high strength yarn grade, co-extruded clear, and ultra-clear corona treated PET films for the converting and graphic arts industry, as well as electrical insulation, label, and other applications. It also provides metalized films for flexible packaging, gift wrap, and decorative applications, as well as sequins for textiles; coated films, such as PVDC, acrylic, silicon, AlOx, ink receptive, digital printable, and DG coated films, as well as coated high COF matte PET and lidding films; and CPP films for regular applications and specialty films for high barrier and retort applications. In addition, the company offers thermal lamination films; non tearable paper films for photo albums, certificates, playing cards, gift cards, visiting cards, calendar, menu cards, wedding cards, and modelling portfolio applications; medical X-Ray films; and polyester chips.
