Meet Traklist — a platform built to empower music creators by organizing, listening, and sharing their work with ease. This year we partnered with multi-platinum producer Mick Schultz to build the mobile app for music creators. While we have ample experience within the recording industry this project challenged us in new ways. Some highlights from our work: ❤️ Seamless Music File Management — We created an intuitive, user-friendly platform that simplifies file organization and version control for artists. With features like drag-and-drop across devices, Traklist streamlines the process of managing music, allowing creators to focus on what matters most—their creativity. 🎨 Optimized for Creative Workflow — By integrating automatic BPM analysis and lossless audio playback, we enhanced Traklist’s ability to support artists' creative processes. These tools provide the precision and efficiency needed to refine tracks without sacrificing quality or time. 👯 Enhanced Collaboration Capabilities — We built tools that allow music creators to share live links for listening and downloading, facilitating seamless collaboration with peers and clients. We recently partnered with Sony to bring a high-level concept to the next level. Their goal? Create a social platform for tweens that balances safety, creativity, and authentic connection. The challenge was that Sony had the research but no set feature list or design to work from. Through a highly collaborative process that focused on rapid iteration and collaborative problem-solving we moved from abstract ideas to concrete product features and design concepts. This project definitely challenged us in new ways and we’re excited to take these learnings into our future engagements. Some highlights from our work: 🔒Safety FIRST: From customizable parental controls to data privacy, we ensured every design choice made safety a priority. Our solution helps parents feel confident while giving tweens freedom within a safe and supportive environment. 📱Tween-Focused UX Design: We crafted a user experience that speaks to tweens’ need for creativity, social interaction, and safety, ensuring the app feels fun and authentic while meeting the specific behaviors and expectations of this young, digitally-savvy audience. ✨Aesthetic That Pops: We nailed a design that’s playful yet structured, creating an endless canvas where tweens can express themselves without feeling overwhelmed — balancing creativity and clarity every step of the way.
