Attention to all international travelers to China! China has officially ordered hotels across the country not to refuse foreign guests! The Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Commerce, and the National Immigration Administration have come together to ensure that hotels improve their services and hospitality towards foreign guests. The China Hotel Association issued an "initiative on facilitating accommodation services for foreign nationals in China," advocating for the strengthening of laws and regulations, enhancing foreign guest reception capabilities, and providing more convenience and support for international visitors. The government has even gone as far as to coordinate with online platforms to offer free training for hotel staff, including English courses, to improve their foreign language proficiency for better service delivery. According to China's Exit and Entry Administration Law, hotels are now required to properly register the accommodation of both Chinese and foreign guests and submit this information to the public security organs within 24 hours.
