Simon is currently on site in Dakar to analyze the local customs processes. He learned that details, flexibility and local partnerships are particularly important. 🌍 Logistik-Herausforderungen meistern – direkt aus Dakar, Senegal 🇸🇳 Unsere Mission bei SOLARBAKERY : Bäckereien mit Solarstrom in Containern dorthin bringen, wo sie gebraucht werden – nachhaltig, unabhängig und schnell. Doch Logistik ist mehr als nur Transport von A nach B. Gerade bin ich in #Dakar , um die lokalen Zollprozesse zu analysieren und zu optimieren. In einer globalisierten Welt sind gute Ideen nichts ohne effiziente Umsetzung. Dabei habe ich gelernt: 🚢 Bei Zoll & Logistik zählen Details – Jede Verzögerung kann Projekte um Wochen zurückwerfen. 🌐 Partnerschaften vor Ort zählen – Wer die lokalen Prozesse kennt, öffnet Türen. 📦 Flexibilität muss sein – Zeitpläne ändern sich, aber unsere Mission bleibt bestehen. Mein Ziel hier: Den Transport unserer solarbetriebenen Bäckerei-Container so zu gestalten, dass sie ohne Hindernisse ans Ziel kommen – von der Produktion bis zum Einsatzort in abgelegenen Regionen Afrikas. We have set up a training center in Senegal!🏢 🥖🍞 Mamadou and our trainees Ciré, Coula, Dicko, Fatou and Zahra used to bake their delicious pastries in Mamadou's bakery laboratory. Now they have a training center with plenty of space and optimal conditions. Up to twenty young people can be trained here at the same time! 💪 ☀️ The trainees can thus start directly in the SOLARBAKERYS after their training with sufficient knowledge and skills. And everyone receives standardized training! 🤝 🏠 The training center also provides accommodation for our team from Germany while they work with the team in Senegal to drive forward the processes on site! It is located in M'bour, Sénégal. 💛 The painting of the SOLARBAKERY is almost complete! And you see that color of course makes the biggest difference - visually. 👁️ 💪 However, so much work went into this project before we even got to this step. The team has really stepped on the gas over the last few weeks, also focusing on the paintwork and corrosion protection. Mamadou, our managing director and master baker in Senegal, produces the most delicious baked goods. 🥖 🤝 In this little video we asked him about the cooperation with the chashew producers, and he told us how much cashews he currently obtains. 😋 You already know that he uses the chashews later for the delicious honey bread.
