This means all fishing vessels operating within Irelands 200‐mile limit, Irish fishing vessels wherever they operate, and all seafood produced in Ireland wherever it is marketed.”

Groundbreaking achievement for marine conservation in Ireland! 👏 🦈🦈Two critically endangered angel shark (Squatina squatina) has been successfully tagged in Tralee Bay, marking a key milestone in efforts to protect this rare species. The collaboration between the Marine Institute, local fishermen, and the community has made it possible to gather crucial data on the movements and behavior of one of Europe’s most endangered shark species.
