Our goal in this competition is to develop cutting-edge AI systems that can effectively learn new skills and solve open-ended problems, moving beyond the traditional approach of relying solely on large datasets. ⚡️ Current AI systems often struggle to generalize to new problems, limiting progress toward achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). In this competition, we aim to develop solutions that can overcome this barrier and significantly improve human-machine interaction. 🏆 We are targeting performance levels comparable to human cognition in the Abstraction and Reasoning Corpus (ARC-AGI) test. This test measures AI's ability to abstract and reason, and our efforts could bring us closer to creating AI that not only performs tasks but also innovates alongside us. The New York Times has sued Microsoft and OpenAI for copyright infringement in the development of AI services. The amount of the claims has not been determined. This leads to debates about whether it qualifies as an Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). - AI models capable of processing and understanding videos, much like they do with images, become prevalent. - Large Language Models (LLMs) are now seamlessly integrated into smartphones. Apple and Google start testing and implementing sophisticated voice assistants. - The use of neuromorphic chips in AI is on the rise. Plans are underway to incorporate them into future smart devices. - Open-source LLMs, such as Llama, outperform GPT 3.5 and Gemini Pro, drawing nearer to the capabilities of GPT-4. - There's a trend towards developing smaller, yet effective AI models. Though not as powerful as leading-edge models, they offer fewer restrictions, more open-source options, and greater customizability. 67% of Americans believe AI could do their jobs, as revealed by a recent survey, sparking concerns and optimism about AI's impact on industries and workloads. Some interesting findings: Concerns About Industry Impact: 74.8% of respondents expressed concerns about AI affecting their industry, with a higher worry among the oldest age group compared to the youngest. Age-related Attitudes: Young adults (18-24 years) were less worried about AI's impact (66%), while over 65s showed the most concern (80.8%). Job Replacement and Salary Concerns: A significant portion of respondents were worried about AI replacing their jobs (34.3%) and affecting future salary increases (34.4%). Stress Reduction: 78.1% believe AI could lessen job-related stress, either now or in the future. Desire for Training: A majority (79.1%) thinks employers should offer training to use AI tools like ChatGPT, indicating a willingness to adapt. Increased Productivity: 40.2% of respondents see AI as a means to boost productivity, with only a small fraction (7.7%) seeing no benefit. Overestimation of AI Capabilities: Surprisingly, 66.6% of professionals think AI could currently perform their job, indicating a possible overestimation of AI's current capabilities. Shorter Work Week Expectations: 76.7% believe AI will reduce the number of working days per week for the average American.
