GM Meeting Thailand - it's a wrap! 

After three years of almost no face-to-face interaction, our business leadership from all around the globe gathered in Phuket, Thailand, for a whole week. 

The week was very busy but productive and inspiring and included meetings, introducing our corporate strategy and roadmap, as well as a business update from each territory. 

oh yeah and a little bit of fun and quality time.

ECCV TLV 2022 🖥️🔮 
 
This week Camtek’s Algorithmics and Advanced Development teams participated at the European Conference of Computer Vision (ECCV) in Tel Aviv. ECCV is the top European conference in the image analysis area. 

Camtek encourages its employee8s to attend such conferences, learn about the latest technologies and innovations and stay tuned with market trends. 

During the conference, the teams participated in workshops, exercises, lectures and were exposed to new articles and research in a variety of fields, including: detection, recognition, classification, localization, motion and tracking, network architectures, optimizations and many more. It was truly fascinating!

Peret is married to Nuha, they have a sweet girl and another one on the way🤰. He has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. In his spare time, he is studying for a master's degree in Business Administration📚

📈Tell us about your growth story 
“My journey has quite a few steps, it all started in the application development department . My next stop was the support department   and finally, after that I moved to the Pre-Sales Application Group where I'm currently the team leader.” 

🦄What makes Camtek a special workplace?
“There is a high level of mobility at Camtek and it is quite common for an engineer to move between different departments in the company. This transition allows engineers to find their place of specialization and gives them a broader view of the system. This goes hand in hand with the growth opportunities in the company.” 

🏋️What makes your days unique at Camtek?  
“The atmosphere. Everyone here knows everyone, and the atmosphere here is just great. In addition, at Camtek, the opportunities for advancements are at the palm of your hand, and there is broad support from the managers and colleagues to take initiatives and try new things.”

“In two words, the people and the experience. I like the fact that the people around me are very close to me, and our friendship is beyond just being coworkers.
