The company operates in six segments: Olefins and PolyolefinsAmericas; Olefins and PolyolefinsEurope, Asia, International; Intermediates and Derivatives; Advanced Polymer Solutions; Refining; and Technology. It produces and markets olefins and co-products; polyolefins; polyethylene products, which consist of high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene, and linear low density polyethylene; and polypropylene (PP) products, such as PP homopolymers and copolymers. Yesterday we received our CDP disclosure rating, which now puts us in the leadership category for climate at ‘A-‘. CDP ratings are released annually and are based on a weighted score across a number of categories related to companies' climate and water performance.

“This increase from ‘B’ to ‘A-‘ is due to increased customer engagement on low carbon and circular products, following the creation of our C&LCS business unit and the launch of our +LC brand last year and through progress on supplier engagement as part of our sustainable procurement program," said Andrea Brown, Chief Sustainability Officer. 

"We also improved our disclosures in our risk and opportunity section and how we conduct advocacy for public policy related to climate. A testament to our company purpose of creating solutions for everyday sustainable living. We will continue to make improvements to our climate change management and associated CDP response in 2024.”
