Western Midstream Partners, LP, a midstream energy company, together with its subsidiaries, acquires, owns, develops, and operates primarily in the United States. It is involved in gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering and disposing produced water. It also buys and sells natural gas, NGLs, and condensate. The company operates assets located in Texas, New Mexico, the Rocky Mountains, and North-central Pennsylvania. Western Midstream Holdings, LLC operates as the general partner of the company. The company was formerly known as Western Gas Equity Partners, LP and changed its name to Western Midstream Partners, LP in February 2019. Western Midstream Partners, LP was incorporated in 2007 and is based in The Woodlands, Texas.

Our people volunteer hundreds of hours to ensuring Meals on Wheels can help seniors avoid the high cost of nursing home care and alleviate the stress of caregiving.

To commemorate National Native American Heritage Month, we’d like to share the fascinating background of WES Measurement Specialist Guyrene Ben. Guyrene is full Diné (Navajo) from the Tábaahá (Water Edge clan). She was raised on the Utah/Colorado border of the Navajo Reservation, and her Great Grandmother was part of a band of Navajos who survived the Long Walk, a 250-450 mile route in the mid-1800s. Her Grandfather is a clan descendant of Chief Manuelito, whose band avoided capture. 
 
Before her time in our industry, she was a credentialed delegate to the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues focused on the advancement of Women’s Rights for Indigenous Women Worldwide. She helps mentor Indigenous students when she’s not reviewing and evaluating Hydrocarbon measurement data as a part of WES’s Measurement team. 
 
“WES’s emphasis on volunteering is important to me as it is the same fundamental teachings of my Indigenous knowledge. Because of WES works with the Food Bank of the Rockies, the local Denver Indian Center can keep their food pantry stocked for struggling American Indian families in the greater Denver area. It brings my traditional Diné teachings full circle.”
