Our last remote access option revolves around additional VPN connectivity on top of a private MPLS network and represents our most secure IoT connectivity solution: Private Connection with VPN Access - Designed for customers that need to isolate IoT device traffic or need to add additional firewall functionality in front of devices, but also need to access the solution from outside the network. - Devices are added to customer’s MPLS providing complete network isolation from other customers. - Devices will be assigned a private static IP address which will be reachable from other MPLS sites. - Internet destined traffic from the devices will go through the network breakout device’s public IP. An additional IPSec VPN is built between a customer site and the Firewall-as-a-service breakout for remote access.
