Andreas studied meteorology (BSc), tropical forestry (MSc) and earned a PhD in physics working on rainfall prediction in the tropics. After that, Andreas worked as a postdoc in computer science at Stanford's AI Lab focusing mostly on agricultural topics. He is passionate about pushing the computational boundaries of weather forecasting and environmental monitoring and leveraging these insights into impactful real-world decision-making.
