Silvertone UAV achieves milestone in Bushfire Technology Pilots Program (BTPP) - Phase 2! We're excited to share our recent success in partnership with NSW Rural Fire Service Shepherd Siding, Wagga Wagga. Our Flamingo Mk3 RPAS showcased pioneering capabilities in enhancing radio communications range and reliability for firefighting efforts. Operation highlights: - Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS) flight up to 4200ft AMSL - Enhanced radio coverage up to 32km for ground firefighters - Successfully overcame terrain-related radio signal limitations This demonstration proves the Flamingo Mk3's value in firefighting and bushfire response. By providing extended, reliable radio communications over challenging terrains, we're ensuring robust contact between command centers and ground teams - crucial for coordinating effective firefighting efforts.
