The unique model provides data-driven prices for established tracks, allowing artists to sell individual tracks or even parts thereof, while Duetti then markets those tracks going forward using unique ROI-focused techniques.

Today we announce $90M in new funding to support independent artists, including $15M of equity and a new $75M credit facility.

Duetti exists to unlock immediate cash flow for independent artists through fair, flexible, and transparent master sales. In the 10 months since our public launch, we’ve become a trusted ally for over 250 artists across all genres and career stages. This new funding allows us to expand our reach even further, broadening the scope of our team and investing in marketing capabilities to best serve our artist partners.

Spotify’s wallet-share varies from a low 38% in Country to a high 66% in Rock. Apple particularly over-indexes in Jazz, Country, R&B, Hip-Hop and Christian while YouTube over-indexes in Latin, Hip-Hop, and R&B.

Just 4 DSPs account for 96% of earnings for US and UK independent artists: Spotify, Apple, YouTube and Amazon - streaming income is heavily concentrated. Social platforms like TikTok generate minuscule value per stream, unlike YouTube, which experienced the strongest growth in wallet share in 2023.
