🌍 At EmTech Europe 2024 co-organized by the MIT Technology Review and Kathimerini, I shared insights on the transformative potential of Decentralized Finance (DeFi). 🚀 

💡I talked about the role of decentralization historically and why Finance has long resisted to it. DeFi promises universal access to financial services, leveraging technologies like smart contracts and blockchain for greater transparency and security. It's a game-changer, reducing costs and enhancing financial inclusion. However, we must navigate challenges like regulatory uncertainty and a number of risks such as market-, security-, technology-, people- and fraud- related ones.
