Arc'teryx is a Canadian high-end design company specializing in outdoor apparel and equipment, focusing on technical apparel for mountaineering and Alpine sports, including related accessories. The company's name and logo reference the Archaeopteryx, the transitional fossil of early dinosaurs to modern dinosaurs (birds).

Arc’teryx is a global design company based in North Vancouver, B.C. that specializes in technical high-performance outerwear and equipment. We design and manufacture a wide range of mountain sports outdoor apparel and equipment for all conditions and experiences, including mountaineering, ice and rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and trail running.

Our company is built on a passionate and relentless commitment to design, craftsmanship and performance. In the Coast Mountain Range behind our headquarters and design centre in North Vancouver, we field test our products in real world conditions allowing us to create the best-fitting, longest-lasting, highest-performing technical products available. We distribute our outerwear and equipment through more than 3,000 retail locations worldwide, in over 40 countries globally, including 38 branded and outlet stores in Europe, North America and Asia. The company started with six employees in 1989 and now has more than 1000 employees in Canada.

To most skiers in British Columbia, Ts’zil (Mount Currie) is a true gem. But while Ts’zil is the backdrop to life in the valley, it’s easy to forget that the history of Ts’zil goes much deeper than what's been skied or snowboarded.

“Slides on the Mountain” follows Talon (17) and Riki (15), two brothers from the Lil’wat Nation, as they decide to ski Ts’zil and set off to learn the skills they need to ride the mountain safely.  Lil'wat elders also shed light on why it's so significant for Lil’wat youth to be able to experience the mountains so deeply entrenched in their culture.

Our latest campaign, No Wasted Days,  serves as a call to action to celebrate the value of an uncommon journey and a life well lived in the detour. Serigne's story inspires us. 

Snowboarding isn’t the go-to sport for most kids in Brooklyn, NY. But when Serigne was 12 he got the opportunity to learn with the Hoods to Woods Foundation. Now, ten years later, he works with the non-profit helping a new generation of inner-city kids fall in love with the sport.
