As a Group we are pleased to share with you another very strong financial performance in the first six months of 2024, the key highlights are: - Profitability has reached new heights supported by active portfolio management and consistent execution of our innovation strategy - Once again, we have proven our ability to deliver solid cash flow, despite higher CAPEX for growth and IT projects - We have achieved the mid-term target of the total net debt leverage ratio ahead of schedule, supported by strong business performance - ROIC has further improved and is now reaching top quartile levels of the bakery industry - We refinanced our credit facility and are now well placed to address our legacy financing position and tap into significant interest arbitrage savings The performance was achieved on flat volume growth impacted by active portfolio management, which favored profitability over volume.
