Zacks Research Weighs in on AstraZeneca PLC's FY2025 Earnings (NASDAQ:AZN)

Zacks Research has raised its FY2025 EPS estimates for AstraZeneca PLC to $4.53, reflecting a positive adjustment in earnings expectations. The company reported Q2 earnings of $0.99 per share, slightly exceeding the consensus estimate of $0.98. However, revenue for the quarter was $12.45 billion, falling short of analyst expectations of $12.62 billion. Despite this, AstraZeneca's revenue increased by 9.1% year-over-year, and the company achieved a net margin of 13.11% and a return on equity of 29.34%. Several analysts, including Citigroup and Barclays, have upgraded AstraZeneca shares to a 'strong-buy' rating, indicating strong confidence in the company's future performance.
