Health must be front and centre of tackling the climate crisis. By taking a health-centred approach, we can improve both the sustainability and resilience of our health systems.

We’re proud to have launched a renewable power agreement in China together with Lonza, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Roche and Envision Energy. 

Convened through the The Sustainable Markets Initiative Health Systems Task Force, this milestone agreement is the first time the pharmaceuticals sector has collaborated on green power in China, and it’s set to achieve annual CO2e savings of around 120,000 tonnes. That’s the equivalent of taking 25,000 cars off the road.
