Ltd (老铺黄金), successfully listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) under the stock code "6181", marking BA Capital's fourth IPO since establishment. The cornerstone investors are Tencent, China Southern Asset Management and CPE Yuanfeng. The local portion of the company’s public offering in Hong Kong was oversubscribed by 582 times, reflecting enthusiastic public response. BA Capital first approached Laopu Gold in 2019, and later invested in the company and led the first and only round of private financing in November 2023. Laopu Gold is a top heritage gold jewelry brand founded in 2009 by Mr. Gaoming Xu. Xu started Laopu by opening his first boutique specializing in traditional gold jewelry through his company, Golden Treasury. Laopu has expanded its footprint to 33 boutique stores across 14 cities in China, including three stores in Hong Kong and Macau, with most of the mainland stores located in first-tier and new first-tier urban centers. In 2023, Laopu Gold generated a revenue of RMB 3.18 billion, a year-on-year growth of 145.7%. The success of our investment in Laopu Gold is a testament to BA’s insight into consumer demands. The company recorded a revenue of RMB 6,301 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 36.5%. Through continuous expansion of the international market and in depth promotion of localized operation, Pop Mart’s business in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas maintained a rapid development, with the revenue reaching RMB 1,066 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 134.9% and accounting for 16.9% of the revenue. Pop Mart’s net profit increased from RMB 475.8 million in 2022 to RMB 1,088.8 million in 2023, representing a year-on-year increase of 128.9%.
