Every year, students from a wide range of degree programmes study with us on a dual study programme.
Klara and Tina told our blog team about a typical day at the dual study programme university at the end of last year:
"Hello, we are Klara and Tina, currently studying Business Informatics in our 5th semester and want to show you what a typical day at the university in Mosbach looks like for us. Klara is living in a shared flat in Mosbach this semester and Tina commutes every day. Our lectures usually take place at around 9:00 am. At the university, each course has a classroom where all lectures take place. As a rule, a lecture lasts 3-4 hours, with breaks. We have 1 to a maximum of 2 lectures per day. In between, we have a 1-hour lunch break.
Our first lecture at 9 am is "Project outline BA". In this course we are prepared for our Bachelor's thesis in the 6th semester. After that we have an hour's lunch break. During the Christmas period there is a Christmas market in Mosbach, which is the perfect place to spend your break with a punch and a waffle.
Afterwards, we continue with the lecture "In-depth IT Management" at 1 pm. This builds on the lecture "Fundamentals of IT Management". This course deals with the planning, implementation and management of IT resources in companies. The day at the university ends for us at 5.15 pm.”

In view of the risks to the environment and health, the EU is severely restricting galvanic chrome plating in 2024. But there is an alternative: physical vapour deposition (PVD). Our customer INORCOAT has specialised in the construction of such coating systems. This is where our mass flow controllers come into play. With high-precision Coriolis technology, they ensure exact metering of the reactive gases in the plasma process.
