Last year, I started hearing about these bots that mass-apply to jobs for you. 

At first, I just laughed. It sounded totally crazy! But as I heard about them a little more, I wanted to try them out for myself. Applying to jobs is soul-crushing, and in today's market, people are having to send out hundreds of applications just to secure a few interviews.  Wouldn't it be awesome if a piece of software could just do it for you?

So I ended up paying for four different bots that sent out a total of 120+ applications for me. The experience surprised me in all kinds of ways. I wrote about it in my latest feature for Business Insider:

Three months into 2024 and the stock market is off to a stellar start.

Record highs have come in bunches, and investors have clamored to participate in the AI euphoria that's powered rallies in names like NVIDIA and Microsoft. 

However, Bank of America strategists said a technical indicator that's been flashing since November could hold the key to a bullish 2024.

"A persistent overbought above -20 on the 28-month Williams %R is a bullish overbought for the S&P 500 (SPX)," strategists said Tuesday. "This longer-term price momentum indicator moved to overbought in November 2023 and stayed overbought in December, January and February."

When the indicator flashes "overbought" for an entire calendar year, the S&P 500 is positive 100% of the time, the bank said. 

In those positive instances, the S&P 500's average and median returns were 19.0% and 16.8%, respectively.

Drake Bell is speaking out for the first time about the sexual abuse he experienced as a 15-year-old Nickelodeon star.

Bell will share his story in the upcoming Investigation Discovery series "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” set to air on March 17 and 18. 

In the documentary, Bell reveals that he was abused for months by Brian Peck, a dialogue coach who worked on Nickelodeon's "All That" and "The Amanda Show." 

For 25 years, Bell has remained anonymous. He was referred to as John Doe in the lawsuit against Peck. At the time, his career was exploding. He was cast as the costar of Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh," which debuted in 2004.

"Quiet on Set," produced by Maxine Productions and Sony, in association with Business Insider, reveals the toxic underpinnings of iconic children's television shows created by famed Nickelodeon producer Dan Schneider in the '90s and early 2000s.
