Today marks another step forward in our ongoing effort to transform the treatment landscape for #bladdercancer. The first patient has been dosed in the PIVOT-006 Phase 3 trial, which is investigating cretostimogene grenadenorepvec as an investigational drug for the treatment of Intermediate-Risk, Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer (#NMIBC) following transurethral resection of the bladder tumor (#TURBT).  

With over 80,000 individuals diagnosed annually with bladder cancer in the United States, the PIVOT-006 study addresses the unmet medical need for patients facing limited treatment options. Dr. Neal Shore, MD, FACS of Carolina Urologic Research Center confirmed the potential impact of this therapy: “Cretostimogene is a novel therapy which has the potential to be a paradigm shift in how we might manage the ongoing burden of this highly recurrent aspect of bladder cancer.”
