In 2008, the International Labour Organization unanimously passed the Declaration on Social Justice for a Fair Globalization, reaffirming the fact that communities function better when advancing #SocialJustice is a priority. Today, we’re observing World Day of Social Justice by recognizing the USAID-funded Inclusive Justice Activity (IJA) in #Colombia under this year’s theme of “social justice at the center of international, national and regional policy agendas.” 

IJA holds individual’s rights at their core of their work in increasing access to quality justice services through a #PeopleCenteredJustice approach, which means they’re strengthening the power of local justice systems and empowering community members to place their trust in them. Projects like IJA ensure that the development of local systems happens equitably and protects the rights of vulnerable groups.
