The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Las Vegas is in the news. Read this interview with our Founder and CEO, Eric Birnbaum. He told the Las Vegas Review-Journal: “There’s not just one thing that you can say, ‘Hey this is why a guest is going to come to your asset.’ You have to give them reasons, plural, to come to your asset. So a great gaming experience, hopefully great food, great ambience and a place that they feel comfortable with (is what Rio will offer).”

Dreamscape Companies has unveiled plans for the renovation of the Ipanema Tower at the Rio Hotel & Casino, revamping 1,427 standard over-sized guest rooms and suites. The overarching design approach is part of the larger vision to completely revitalize the property to compete in today’s ultra competitive market; with the aim of creating a vibrant dynamic lifestyle experience. 

The standard oversized 600 square-foot guest rooms will be significantly upgraded with all new furnishings and fittings, a tub-to-shower conversion, separate living and sleeping zones. The custom furnishings are versatile, catering to both work and play, featuring a state-of-the-art 65-inch television, WiFi, and all rooms will have a sectional sofa with a queen-size pull-out bed. The suite will provide resort guests the ideal place to recharge, work, or play.

"The new room design blends elements of fun and whimsy with an unmistakable touch of luxury. Dreamscape Companies is thrilled to announce its exciting partnership with four world-renown architectural and design partners Fettle, Gianpiero Gaglione Interior Design (GGID), Lifescapes International and Marnell Architecture in the renovation of the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Looking to fully takeover operations in Q4 of this year, Dreamscape’s multi-year redevelopment of the resort includes a full refresh of the 2,500 all-suite guest rooms; 150,000 square-foot casino floor; 220,000 square-foot meeting and conventions space; five acres of luxury poolside amenities and general resort areas, with the design of several new, first-to-market food and beverage concepts.
