🔌⚡️ Blisko 90% polskich przedsiębiorstw działających w sektorze przetwórstwa tworzyw sztucznych, gumy i metalu uważa, że ich firmy wykorzystują możliwości ograniczania zużycia i kosztów energii. Jednak tylko 7% ankietowanych wie, czym jest DSR, a w ich przedsiębiorstwach planowane jest wdrożenie tego programu.

🎯 Prezes Zarządu #PIPC, Tomasz Zieliński, Ph.D., Eng., MBA, w raporcie Enel X „W kierunku elastyczności rynku energii. Sektor przetwórstwa tworzyw sztucznych, gumy i metalu. Wnioski i rekomendacje” podkreślił, że przemysł chemiczny, jako sektor energochłonny, bezpośrednio odczuwa skutki kryzysu energetycznego.

📈 Wzrost cen surowców, wysokie i niestabilne ceny energii oraz skrócenie okresów rozliczeniowych znacząco wpływa na dynamikę rynku. Czynniki powodują m.in. zwiększenie kosztów produkcji, co z kolei wpływa na osłabienie konkurencyjności polskich przedsiębiorstw na rynku unijnym. Ponadto konkurencja z producentami spoza UE, którzy często mają dostęp do energii w niższej cenie, stawia polskie firmy w jeszcze bardziej niekorzystnym położeniu.

🧐 Głównymi wyzwaniami związanymi z transformacją energetyczną przedsiębiorstw są m.in. brak know-how oraz wysokie koszty inwestycji.

💬 „Energochłonne gałęzie przemysłu chemicznego powinny mieć możliwość szybkiego i bezproblemowego dostępu do systemów wsparcia publicznego na rzecz inwestycji w metody reagowania na popyt, które nie opierają się na paliwach kopalnych. Te działania powinny być zgodne z nowymi przepisami przyjętymi w ramach reformy technicznej unijnych ram regulacyjnych dotyczących projektowania rynków energii elektrycznej” – powiedział Prezes Zieliński.

🌱 Konieczne jest wsparcie przedsiębiorstw w pokonywaniu barier finansowych, regulacyjnych i inwestycyjnych, a także zwiększenie dostępu do wiedzy na temat korzyści wynikających z udziału w programach optymalizacji zużycia energii. Aby branża chemiczna mogła skutecznie konkurować na rynku i spełniać wymagania środowiskowe, niezbędne jest długofalowe planowanie strategiczne oraz inwestycje w projekty energetyczne.

Within our partnership with Aeroporti di Roma (AdR), we proudly announce a new project to construct PIONEER, an innovative, large-scale, second-life Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) co-funded by the European Commission’s Innovation Fund. The BESS will store the excess power from Fiumicino’s PV plant, which we are helping design and build, and will be operated thanks to our intelligent Energy Management System.

The system transforms used EV batteries, which are provided by 3 different EV-makers thanks to the modular approach, into stationary storage, enabling AdR to:
🔋store up to 10 MWh of green energy for the airport’s terminals
🌿reduce CO₂ emissions

Projects like this will also provide greater flexibility to the electrical grid in the future, facilitating the integration of an increasing number of renewable energy sources.

PIONEER represents a crucial step in the company’s decarbonization journey and exemplifies a truly circular approach.🌱
