Kyle discusses how the future of Alzheimer's treatments relies on creating powerful drugs that can decrease beta-amyloid—an amino acid present in the brains of Alzheimer's patients—without causing as much brain swelling.

Scientists have already made promising strides in preventing the deterioration of the human brain, and their ongoing efforts will uncover solutions for treating Alzheimer's.
