The successful delivery of our IM-1 mission Nova-C lunar lander to Cape Canaveral, Florida, is a tremendous milestone built on a four-year foundation of technical excellence earned through challenges, failures, and triumphs. 

In coordination with SpaceX, the liftoff of the IM-1 lunar mission is targeted for a multi-day launch window that opens no earlier than January 12, 2024.

The backbone of Intuitive Machines is the veterans who continue their service to our great nation by helping us lead the United States back to the surface of the Moon. They bring the respect, integrity, dedication, and technical excellence required to open access to the Moon for the progress of humanity.

Lunar landers need a strong power system to survive a trip to the Moon; Nova-C's STARBUCK-Mini power system from AAC Clyde Space store enough energy to fully charge 130 dead iphones.

The Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicles Directorate, within the U.S. Department of Defense, has awarded Intuitive Machines the Joint Energy Technology Supplying On-Orbit Nuclear Power (JETSON) Low-power Mission Application contract.

Our IM-1 mission launches into a translunar orbit. This means launch to lunar landing takes about a week, similar to Apollo missions. We call it, the Great Lunar Alley-oop.
