The team at PCNA is thrilled to report record U.S. retail sales for 2023 – selling 75k cars during its 75th year. Amongst the model lines, the 911 and Macan were the frontrunners of 2023. For the first time since 2007, PCNA sold more than 11,000 911 models in a single year; an increase of 14.6 percent versus 2022.

As 2023 draws to a close, the PCNA team is taking a moment to reflect and express our gratitude to you - our customers, enthusiasts, our Porsche Center partners and our team members across North America.

What a special year it has been.

Together we have celebrated the 75th anniversary of the first Porsche sports car in spectacular style. We welcomed a new President and CEO – Timo Resch and opened a thrilling new West Track at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta. As a brand, we introduced an array of incredible new cars, celebrated with over 91,000 Porsche enthusiasts at Rennsport Reunion, built a new stand-alone Classic Restoration Center and fostered meaningful relationships within our local communities, including offering key support for education and learning programs.

As a team, we have gone further, faster and even higher than ever before while welcoming new talented, energized, and creative colleagues across the country who are helping us drive Porsche Passion in new ways.

Today, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Scout Motors announced the planned implementation of the North American Charging Standard (NACS) for future products in the North American region, beginning in 2025. 

This agreement is intended to expand customer charging access to more than 15,000 Tesla Superchargers – in addition to the more than 3,800 DC fast charging outlets currently in operation by Electrify America and Electrify Canada.

On Saturday, a Porsche 911 set a new world record on top of the world. 

Driven by racer Romain Dumas, the 911 (which was powered by HIF eFuels) reached the summit of the west ridge of Chile’s Ojos del Salado volcano – an altitude of 22,093 feet – beating the previous record set in 2020. 

Congratulations to the small team of passionate enthusiasts from the US, Chile, France, Canada, Germany, Switzerland and the UK who supported the project and aimed for the sky. #DrivenByDreams #PorschePassion #Porsche911

Meet the re-imagined Panamera. 

Entering its third generation, the 2024 Porsche Panamera will reach U.S. Porsche Centers in Spring next year. Sporting enhanced styling, a new interior layout focused on the driver, powerful powertrains including expanded plug-in hybrid options and innovative suspension technology, it aims to cement its claim as the sports car of the segment.

For almost 50 years, Turbo models have represented the pinnacle of most model lines at Porsche. And now, they are about to become even more special. 

The Turbonite treatment, reserved exclusively for Turbo models, will debut on the next Porsche Panamera generation and features a special trim for the exterior and interior - including front fascia, seat stitching, and even a special version of the Porsche crest.

For the fourth year in a row, One Porsche Drive in #Atlanta was the backdrop for a special celebration honoring team members, their family and our community friends who have served in the United States military. This year the Salute our Veterans Business Resource Group (BRG) put on the Veterans Day Honorary Track Experience & Celebration of Service, welcoming guests from the Greater Atlanta community, our community partners at Delta, members of the Porsche Club of America who have served, and more. A special message of perseverance and determination was delivered by First Lieutenant Nyesha A. Hoskins, United States Marine Corps S-4 Officer in Charge, Combat Logistics Regiment 45 who has contributed to paving the way for women in the Marine Corps.
 
“This Veterans Day – and every day – we are grateful for the sacrifices of our U.S. military veterans and their loved ones. Thank you for your service to our great nation,” said George Feygin, General Counsel, PCNA and Executive Sponsor, Salute our Veterans BRG.

Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) partnered with Make-A-Wish Georgia and Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana to grant a wish involving a very special, classic car. Evan Bothwell, of Zionsville, IN, wished to have a car makeover for his Porsche 944, inspired by Jake Ryan’s iconic car seen in the 1984 film Sixteen Candles. On November 3, Evan and his family gathered at the Porsche Classic Restoration Facility for its unveiling, and to complete his wish, Evan drove the newly renovated 944 back to his hometown in Indiana.

“We are proud to be able to help and support the work of the Foundation, and we send Evan our best wishes as he begins his journey in a special car,” said Timo Resch, President and CEO of PCNA.
